Herman the Great

Hailing from Providence, RI, four-piece indie rockers Herman the Great play what they describe as "spaced out garage-gaze" music. Their sparkling layers of guitar would have sounded at home among the first and best UK shoegazers, but the drums and vocals hint at the more earthy sounds of grunge and punk. Together, these contrasting sounds form a new sort of landscape against which the band's sincere melodies and thoughtful song-craft can thrive.
